Cryogenic and High pressure Systs Law in France
Rank: Guest

Posted By Rob T Hi, this is probably a question for Merv but if anyone else could also help I would greatly appreciate it as well. Could anyone point me towards the French Regs for a lab that uses high pressure and Cryogenic systems. I'm now based in Monaco so no problem with getting it translated.
Many thanks in advance

Posted By Merv Newman Hi Rob. You do get about. As far as I know there is nothing specific in the Code du Travail.
I think you should have a look at the AFNOR site (Association Française de Normalisation)(equivalent to BSI) but you will probably have to pay.
Keep in touch

Posted By Merv Newman Second thoughts : have a word with Air Liquid who supply cryogenic gases. (like British Oxygen)

Posted By Rob T Thanks Merv. Not sure where you are based in France but if you get down Monaco way I owe you lunch. I could do with your e-mail address but not sure how to get it nowadays (since the Mods decided that any e-mail address with a firm's name on it would not be listed here). You could forward it through IOSH International Specialist group though, maybe via Sascha Lemon.
Although this is my base I will still be going to the usual "holiday" destinations in the O&G industry. The Delta next! Always good for losing weight!!
Cheers Rob
