Posted By Helen Edginton I have just uncovered a significant difference in the results for monitoring perchloroethylene. If I use the official measurement as stated in EH40 the reading is over the permissable 8hrTWA levels. But, if I use the manufacturers measurement the reading is well within the thresholds. Before I loose the will to live can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Helen If you are in the UK, you must use the WEL which is 50 ppm (345 mg m3) for an 8-hour reference period or 100 ppm (689 mg m3) for a 15 minute reference period. Paul
