There are plenty, just trying to remember them is the difficult bit. How about the Public Lavatories (Turnstiles) Act 1963, banning the use of turnstiles in public lavs.

They have turnstiles at Liverpool Street Station and you have to pay for the privilege to have a wee.

The Breeding of Dogs Act 1973 stated that "appropriate steps will be taken for the protection of the dogs in case of fire or other emergency".
However I think the RRO(FSO) will have repealed that.

I think you will find within the ambit of the legislation Liverpool Street Station lavatory is no longer a public lavatory. Sorry, no refund.

I've always had an affinity for either the (the Gut Scraping, Tripe Dressing, etc. Welfare Order 1920) or (the Herring Curing (Norfolk and Suffolk) Welfare Order 1920.
Somehow the thought of helping Herring to get better appealed to me - or is it I must get out more.

As a junior Factory Inspector in the 1970s we seemed to administer numerous quirky Regulations. Many concerned employment, hours of work and holidays with Jewish factories having different public holidays. Dating back to the days before everyone had a watch was the power for an inspector to nominate a public clock by which factory hours were regulated.
A set of welfare Regulations that come to mind was that for gut scraping but I’m afraid I can’t remember the year. A legal quirk referring to slaughter houses was that the Factories Act 1961 did not apply to that part of an abattoir where chickens were slaughtered although every other animal was included and once the chicken was dead the processing of its carcass met the definition of “adapting for sale”.

Being serious how about -
The Town Police Clauses Act 1847 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (10 & 11 Vict c. 89).
The statute remains in force and makes illegal certain deeds such as hanging washing in the street, beating a carpet, and flying a kite.

The Adventure Activities (Enforcing Authority) Regulations 2004
and
The Health and Safety (Enforcing Authority) Regulations 1998
do it for me! Both seem completely misunderstood by those they apply to.
