Posted By Ross Hunter Please correct me if I am wrong. As I understand it, if I as a user have in my workshop a piece of equipment or machinery that was purchased and fitted prior to the requirements of CE marking, am I right in saying that I can still use this equipment so long as; I comply with PUWER, Carry out the appropriate ra's, Put in place the appropriate control measures were hazards are identified and train, inform and where required supervise the users. Ross (Hi Clive, would email you mate but dont have your email any more - PC blew up! ross.hunter@williamdavis.co.uk)

Posted By Pete48 Ross, this subject has been debated several times recently and this may be why you have not had any replies to date. Have you tried searching the forums with "ce marking"? Search function is in the top right hand box. There may be something in there that would help you.
