Hi all

By law ....Is there any specific time period you must retain 'on file' all closed Permits to Work ....apart from internal audit requirements

I am unaware of any such law although one would be wise to retain for a defined period as suitable to the permitted task.

I scan all the ones we generate and file them on the PC. As the computer server backs up automatically each day we won't lose the data -just in case we need it at a later date.
