COSHH Assessment? - Lead Paint on Steel Door
Rank: Guest
|
Posted By Paul Purvis We will be cutting the bottom off of a old steel door which has lead paint on it. As the door is old there are no records of the manufacturer of the paint, so as the % is unknown (but the exposure time scale is minimal) a 'generic' COSHH plus PPE to Filter/protect should be acceptable?
- did that make sense?

Strictly speaking, you need to do a CLAW assessment but the principle is the same. Are you intending to carry out the work in situ?
