Posted By halesowen Baggie Totally out of my comfort zone here! I have discovered that we carry a product that has a small lead strip attached to it. Approx size 4 cms x 1cm. This product comes in boxes of about 250, employees will occasionally transfer these products into stock bins. What do I have to do to comply with the CLAW Regs, as I seem to remember some exemptions when doing my NEBOSH Dip?

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Are the strips dusty? If not, lead exposure is probably insignificant (see Table 2 in the CLAW ACoP). You will have to do a risk assessment under CLAW but, in the absence of any lead dust, good personal hygiene is probably the only control measure required. Paul
