Stress Occupational Road Safety Manual Handling Slips, Trips and Falls Working at Height Construction industry Waste Industry Occupational Health Lack of consistent enforcement and prosecutions/fines
sure there must be 1 more.
The above are not in any particular order, just seems to be regular themes in various publications at this moment in time.

Posted By Dave Faragher Nick, These are obviously relevant to my workplace but here goes, Manual handling, Proactive strategy rather than a re active response, Occupational road risk, Information, instruction and training, Powers of the health and safety committee, occupational health, Compliance with Acops and guidance notes, The need to (go back to basics), Effective health and safety strategies ie risk assessment, education, employee involvment, workplace inspections,tool box talks, I could go on and on but i won`t (sighs of relief) a very interesting question nick, Faragher

Posted By Bob Shillabeer Not an easy answer really, it depends on what sort of field you are working in.
E.g. if you are in a manufacturing industry it is probably safe machines, in sedentary role pssibly stress or sick buildings.
Each area has its own problems but the recognition of the clip board safety person (note not professional) is just one image safety professionals need to rid themselves of. The ability to recognise that sectors vary is an important part in doing that so I suggest you look at the sector concerned and dvelop your own list.
