I am looking for some software that is web based and will allow for each of my sites to enter their stats, number of accidents, hours worked etc each month. The software should then calculate global frequency rates and allow comparisons between projects etc..

Does anyone know of any suitable software?

Regards
Glynn

I have used MSAccess, published the relevant forms on the inter/tranet the user completes the relevant bits this fills in the backend or table on a server somewhere.

Reports can be put together using queries which filter and manipulate the data. Once build ont requires a few clicks to get the info you want.

All you need is someone who is good on access.

Hi Glynn,

A company called Safety Media have been advertising an online accident reporter. It may well be worth investigating this further.

Hi Glynn

I have used a package from a company called Enable Software. Its internet based, contains detailed reporting functions, and you can set as many sites as you like eg we currently have 100+ sites on our system.

I am sure that there are other similar software packages out there as well though.

Best regards

Jon

Hi Glynn, my company use an accident reporting software called AOAIRS, this system allows employees to log on all accidents and incidents, with the minimum of fuss, and then we have investigators which are allocated on a site by site basis, although we have only had this system in place 6 months, but are very happy with the ease of use
