I'm having difficulty finding a chair for DSE purposes. The standard big and tall type chairs that I have seen aren't rated high enough and have been proved to break quite rapidly. Posted By Steph Hello Rachel I have recently had to source chairs for our security guards - for 24 hour use by varying height and weight guys. Not sure where you're based, but I use a company in York called Lundia (website on Google) - they recommend, source and supply on a trial basis, and with a very quick delivery time. They have shop in York centre where you can vists and try out or get advice. They deliver nationally and provide 'set-up' demonstrations. They will also give you phone advice. I can't speak highly enough of them. On a separate note; have you considered your employee using the Access to Work scheme? This is a Govt funded scheme (via the Jobcentre system) where you can claim all or part of the funding required for essential ergo equipment for staff use at work. If the staff member is new the Govt funding is 100 %. And the system is very easy to follow - well worth it, as these chairs can cost £1200 each. Hope this helps, regards, Stephanie
