if a workplace has a fire and a temporary workplace is provided for example portakabins how would the risk assessments be affected, i am thinking they should be reviewed and updated?? this also brings in limited workspace. any comments would be appreciated

Are the two items (ie fire and temp accommodation) linked? If not, treat them as seperate items but allow for access, working processes etc in the vicinity of the fire. Is the fire actually required?

Risk Assessments - any change to the working pattern or set-up should be re-assessed. So, yes, temporary accommodation should be re-risk assessed.

Hope this helps as a starter for ten...

(this is, of course, just my opinion in case anyone thinks otherwise).
