I too find this forum useful, mostly for the missing link between what you suspect is right from your own interpretation of things, and what is actually the case.

It is amazing how widely our H&S law can be interpreted sometimes....so its good to talk.

Although, Ron, I am sure Dirk Gently would have said that with more eloquence?

I am going out for a meal tonight, to a Bistro actually. There will be quite a few of us and we will split the bill. I am going to take a scientific calculator with me...............

Did you enjoy the meal the most or was it collecting the money afterwards that did if for you?

Goodbye and thanks for all the fish is a tag line from "The hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy"

Dolphins were thanking Humans.

Sorry to be nerd - but isn't it "So long, and thanks for all the fish" :) (I should maybe check before I post but where's the fun in that)

H&S and SciFi what a life I lead.

I don't think a scientific calculator would make a dent in the calculations required for harnessing infinite improbability.

You are right, the calculator was useless, we tried the traditional method using fingers and toes, then we all denied partaking on an individual basis some of the dishes that had been consumed at our table, then we just fought it out, skin and hair flying, gouging, biting, hair pulling and name calling. I love a good Saturday night out with friends.

That's what I like, an easily understood high level thread where nobody is wrong or right.

Actually it is 44 not 42.

Peter: "Actually it is 44 not 42."

You can't just go around changing the universe thank you very much... even as CMIOSH we have to obey the fundamental inevitability of 42.

Useful forum? Shame the mice didn't think so ...
