I am watching construction behind my home and the company in question is using an unmanned boom crane made whose boom is over the tops of neighbouring homes. The load section is not overhead but the boom is?
Seems very dodgy to me as a layman. They can retract half of the boom but his is not in process.
Can anyone help?

They should have sought you consent and if not you can stop it operating over your home.
