Hi to All

Is there anyone who has a presentation for fire marshall training. Looking to compile my own but could use some ideas and templates to help me get it off the ground.

Don't want to re-invent the wheel if there is someone who would be willing to share their information

Thanks in anticipation

Robert Paterson

Hi,

I will e-mail you both directly.

My presentation needs a minor bit of updating (regarding colours of extinguishers etc.), but it should at least give you a head start.

Hi to All

Thanks to all who have responded. I have enough information to get me going. Can I say that the standard of presentations were very high. Just goes to show how talented IOSH people are.

I know this thread has been running for a while now but I have just been asked to look for a fire marshall presentation and my search brought me here (which should have been my first port of call really). I was just wondering if any kind people might send me some of the fire marshall presentations that they received. Thank you in anticipation.

I also have tried and tested FM presentation that am willing to share/send, our PPP also cover "bomb" procedures as our FMs are core players in both fire and emergency incidents.

What a stroke of luck - I'm also needing to look at fire marshall presentations. Seems everyone is needing this at the moment eh?

Would those who have kindly parted with this information to others mind also forwarding to me aswell?

I do some fire marshall talks. I have found the FPA dvd on arson very useful. You can preview a bit of it on their website.

Hello everyone,

Just to add to the information already given...

I included a practical element to my fire marshal training, insisting that staff walk the escape route applicable to them. This way they see the route they're expected to take and see the various landmarks, giving them confidence in the event of an evacuation.

In my previous company, I gave a short presentation and followed it immediately with the walk. It gave people chance to formulate questions, which I took once we had reoccupied the building.

I hope you find this helpful.

Angela
