Hi,

Our Staff Social Club is organising a Fun Day (afternoon/evening) for our staff at a local Rugby Club. The site is a club house surrounded by fields which are normally open to the public.

The bar will be open during the day, and entertainment includes: BBQ, Bouncy Castle, Tug of War.

I want to be pro-active in giving safety advice but I perceive some significant issues including:

• Risk Assessment (general and specific ones for bouncy castle etc).
• Security (access to what is an open site, dealing with any trouble)
• First Aid.
• Alcohol Policy – linked to Kids being on site, use of activities etc.

Does anyone have any guides that they use to assist them with advising people on these sorts of events? I don't want to reinvent the wheel!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Regards
Andrew
