Hi All,
I know there are colleagues out there with a profound awareness of scaffolding standards i.e. BS 5973 or any other document but can someone can point me in the right direction to finding in this standard where it states the horizontal travel limits before we need an access / egress ladder etc.

In old numbers it was every 100'

But, obviously base your assessmenmt around conditions ie where you are working / what you are working with etc....

Cheers

The answer is 9 meters but BS5973 is an old standard you need to look at En 10810 and 10811 and Hd 1000.
