Posted By Lukasz Does anybody know if pump tracks require checks and do you need to keep records of it ?
Is it under loler that you will need to do inspection every 12 months?

Posted By CRT Hi.
If we are talking about the traditional pallet type truck, In my opinion, No. Primary function is to move goods around and not to lift. Dont forget about PUWER requirements though.

Posted By John Lewis Hi Lukasz In my last company we took what I feel was a practical approach and had them checked every six months by the same people who did our loose lifting tackle. The kit needed checking under PUWER so it mattered not a jot who actually did it (so long as they are competent).
However, one thing to be aware of is that it is often cheaper to buy a new one than spend the money on repairs, especially if the truck is a couple of years old. For this reason don't buy them off the inspecting company unless you have a really good working relationship and trust them.
