Can anyone help.

I am trying to find a safe way of bracing a roof truss at it's apex. This can vary in height from 1 meter to about 5 meters.
There is always a safety deck below the bottom cord but it doesn't give enough height to reach the top.
The current method is to climb on the current bracing and use it as a ladder.

Apart from building up the scaffolding does anyone have another idea.
