Posted By Bryn Jones I offered to help my local infants school with some Health and Safety issues if required and put back something into the local community, this was because the LEA do not respond fast or at allin some cases. To my shock a day later I was asked to undertake a risk assessment for the School Fete and quite frankly I need some help. Has anyone undertaken a risk assessment for a schoool fete and can help by sending a template or past example.
Thanks in antisipation

Posted By Gareth W Jones Wise words Merv,
I too have been asked to carry out a risk assessment for a small after school play group, I have declined (although I felt I wanted to contribute to the local community) I helped by passing over HSE guidance from the HSE homepage and left the assessment to a consultant, but I did offer my services by helping physically to move some toys etc, Kept me fit and not stressed about any come backs !!
Regards Gareth

Posted By Lilian McCartney When I've helped charities etc I have them form a group and then help the group do the work from HSE etc info and offer them alternatives and they make the deicsions.
Saves any probs as I don't have liability insurance.
