Hi All

I've been asked by my company to prepare a handout/talk detailing the changes to the new 07 regulations, and responsibilities.

Does anybody know where I can obtain such an information sheet?

Any help greatly appreciated

The preparation of any CDM presentation has to be very much driven by the particular organisation concerned. Thus clients, designers and contractors will all have need of a different perspective and varying emphases.

The HSE website has some presentations on it but these are very general. You will find a lot of the changes centre around

a) Clearly stated and additional client role

b) Removal of agent and PS.

c) Empowered co-ordinator

c) Inclusion of non notifiable works under much of the legislation

c) Addition of CHSWR 96 into part 4 of CDM 07.

d) Clarification of competence needs

e) Co-ordination and co-operation duties

Hope this helps

Bob

Hi Lee

Why not go to the industry led guidance on the citb website, there are some good main changes factsheets which have a few bullet points on each which you could very quickly turn into a presentation.

I have used them with the various dutyholders, gone down well, link is:

Hi, at the risk of sounding like one of those who simply quotes regs instead of giving practical advice. Get a copy of the new HSC guidance ACOP. I found it really easy to find my way around, quite clear and concise. And I'm not a construction bod either. Book ref L144

A quick search on Google will bring up documents like this

http://www.aisolutions.c...ed-changes-cdm-may06.pdf

Which may or may not help - you just need to check that they are correct.

Or try the HSE construction page.

cheers
