Colleague of mine is looking to borrow/scrounge a copy of the hse climate survey tool that he is looking to modify for a college course . Unfortunatly it is no longer available from HSE.
He has a copy of the questionaire but is looking for a copy of the supporting information.

Not perhaps specifically what you're looking for, but "Summary guide to safety climate tools
Prepared by MaTSU for the Health and Safety Executive" OFFSHORE TECHNOLOGY REPORT 1999/063 ISBN 0-7176-1958-3 (£15) may be relevant and still available through the on-line subscription services many colleges have.
I believe that the above document informed the design of HSE's own Tool? I certainly found it to be an invaluable reference in designing an in-house Climate Survey question set.

I will pass that on- sounds like it may give him some good feedback. Reading the questions in the hse survey some of the questions could be applicable to multiple areas, I think that he is looking to get an insight into the rationalle behind some of the questions
