A colleague has been asked to prepare a working plan for his transfer station. Has anyone got anything similar i could forward on to him to take a look at?

Thanks in advance

A Site working plan for a licensed Waste Transfer Station is a detailed site and activity specific document that directly relates to how the company will comply with the specific conditions that are laid down in the actual Licence. The Licence is issued by the Environment Agency only when the Working plan has been submitted to and accepted by the Environment Agency, together with any relevant drawings.

With the utmost respect to your friend I would suggest that if he does not know what information should be included in the Site Working Plan then I would say that he is not the right person to complete the Plan. The plan needs to be completed by someone who is competent in Waste Management and ideally a holder of a COTC relevant to the type of facility, issued by WAMITAB.

BTW a recent Waste Management Plan I completed run to over 150 pages excluding drawings and relevant Health & Safety information.
