I have noticed that our Green & Brown Wheelie bins now have a dB rating fixed onto them. Could anyone please enlighten me on this. I can only think that this is the maximum noise they produce when being emptied?

I thought the marking was to advise of the reduction in noise achieved when the bin is used as a receptacle for a screaming child.

Excellent idea! My wheelie bin gets emptied today, so that leaves plenty room for the 3 little darlings next door. ;-)
