It may be a very good question for members of the Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), although I am inclined to believe that OHSAS Certification alone will not win work. If it does, the upstream supply chain need a sense check as I have over the years reviewed a number of OHSAS Management Systems certified by very reputable (large) certification companies that when tested in practice were found to be inconsistent with the internal organisational structure, hazard profile and attitude to risk control.
