Does anyone have a risk assessment, safe system of work or can provide best practice for unloading ride on mowers. At the moment, they are driven off the back of the trailer or wagon they are delivered to site on. They have no ROPS and if one missed the edge of the ramp the consequences could be severe.
The operatives carrying out the task say this is how everyone else does it.
All help gratefully received.

where practicable they should have ROPS fitted - we have dozens delivered / moved around via trailer etc on a regular basis and all have ROPS fitted and are in the raised position when loading / unloading etc
perhaps your delivery people are using the wrong trailers?
