Can anyone help please?
In our production site (assembly of automotive switches), anyone entering into the warehouse area must wear hi-viz vest and anyone entering into the production area must wear anti-static jackets. However, some persons have to go between the two areas many times per day and have to change from one to the other. Although the jackets may be worn in the warehouse, they are not allowed to wear the hi-viz in production (company rules).
Someone has suggested that we perhaps just fit reflective strips to the anti-static jackets, which could then be used in both areas without having to keep changing. However, I'm not sure if that would be sufficient, as HSE recommended that we wear Hi-Viz when in the warehouse. Does it also need to be fluorescent yellow or orange as well? I do not have a copy of EN471, and can't find any further details anywhere.
Thanks in advance for any help !!

Hi Steve
I dont know if this would work for you but,why not supply warehouse workers with the recently available, hi viz polo shirts ( I see them used a lot now on the sites I visit).
When they enter the anti stat area, the jacket would cover up the hi viz, then when they leave they remove the jacket, thus showing HV again
