Do employers in shops have to provide the ladies with a sanitation bin and should it be just a bin e.g. with no lid or should it be a unit with lid and chemicals which is taken away by a professional disposal company? 2. If someone has asked for one, can the employer refuse? 3. The employer is saying that its adequate for him to provide one bin in the kitchen area for such disposal of sanitary ware and to use a plastic bag which he supplies in the ladies room to put it in the kitchen if and when he buys the bags. Is this correct? 4. Would it constitute a health and safety risk breach by mixing blood products with food and chemical bottle wastage all from one bin placed in the kitchen? 5. There are 3-5 women who visit and work in the outlet who are of menstruating years. Does the employer have a legal responsibility to supply proper sanitation?
