I have two projects where the design includes large hubs to be installed on upper floors. The manufacturer has designed these to be installed in sections.
The design has yet to be finalised but so far, we suspect the glazed unit partitions may be too large to be moved using the existing lifts. while I wait on a response from the design team and joinery manufacturer as to whether these sections can be made smaller to reduce the manual handling risks, I was wondering if anyone knows of any mechanical lifting device which could be used on stairs and also used for unloading etc?
Thanks

We have used some mechanical / powered 3 wheeled stair climbers in the past, I think there are quite a few on the market, however be prepared to pay in excess of a grand.
If unsure they would be right for you I Have found suppliers very willing to come to your site and demonstrate on the types of objects you would be using.
We had some offices where there were only stair access and for things like stationary, new desks / computers etc we needed to use this type of device.
