Its Hazardous Waste Removal (Asbestos) NVQ2 it is out there but as yet there are no Assesment centres or internal / external verifiers.

Its OK now as I have had a result from the CSCS people (Colin thank you) in that the experienced worker route has been reinstated until the 31st April 2008, so any new employee can get a CSAC card as long as they have done the Asbestos training from ACAD / ARCA or a company on the HSE list of training providers.

So any of you NVQers out there from May next year the asbestos industry will have to do NVQ2 as well as ACAD/ARCA to get a CSCS Card.

Anyone fancy adding this to thier portfolio of NVQ which they can deliver?
