Are there any H&S advisors for Taxi companies or licensing officers for local councils out there??

I (urgently) need to find out some info on H&S management of taxis especially:

Required Driver training - driving skills rather than 'the knowledge'
Vehicle maintenance

Anyhting else much appreciated.

Al.

Haven't got a clue, but you could try these geezers;

Nottingham City Council is responsible for licensing Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles, Drivers and Operators who work within the Nottingham City boundary. The section employs 7 staff comprising of a Licensing Officer, 3 Licensing Assistants and 3 Enforcement Officers.

Tel 0115 9156571, e-mail taxi.licensing@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
