Hi Harry
Contact the companies that supply lifting equipment e.g. sprint, king, demag etc, they should be able to point you in the right direction if the item you are looking for is an attachment to a crane or similar, as I know these items exist.
However if it is to be used by hand e.g. not as an attachment then I am unable to guide you in any favourable direction as to potential suppliers.
Hope this helps out.

You can purchase mag-clamps that just attach to a hook. They can lift several hundred kilos....however, you should be careful with durbar as the clamp will be attracted to the "lumps" of the pattern and not to the base metal. As such, the capacity of the lifter will be much lower than with flat, clean plate. Not forgetting that when it detaches the load will go down fast....

Have used these in the past, they usually come in 250, 500 and 1000kg variants. You have to be careful with material thickness, as the magnets need a certain amount of "meat" to work properly. Minimum thickness is usually marked on the handle
