We supply electricity generating plant using landfill gas, these are supplied in 40 foot ISO containers.
Is there an argument for classifying these as 'fixed plant' and therefore they would require periodic testing?

If these are to be located and attached to a gas offtake for an extended period of time then yes treat them as permanent and devise a suitable test and maintenance regime as per any other fixed plant of this nature.

The alternative is to classify them as temporary and test/inspect more frequently.
