There were also some articles by Cooper in the SHP some years ago. (1997 ?)He based his field trails on the construction industry.

The US military have undertook many such studies / programs and you should be able to get hold of info

The UK government info is much much harder to get hold of

Whilst neither are directly related to construction the studies should be useful

I would check out back issues of the Construction News as they ran an article on behavioural based safety on the basis that this was embraces by BAA and all of the companies that worked on T5 Terminal at Heathrow. Lend Lease globally run behavioural based safety training for all employees.

You might also want to source a company called JMJ Associates.

They manage and co-ordinate behavioural based safety with BAA, Lend Lease, Laing O'Rourke, to name but a few.

Hope this is of some help.

Psychologists at The Keil Centre in Edinburgh did some BBS work with Balfour Beatty in the last couple of years.

YOu may well be able to trace information about their practices through their website, which you can find through Google or Yahoo.
