I bought a 2 part Conveyor few days ago and the supplier has only given me a maintenance booklet with it...

I am not sure if a conveyor would fall in with scoop of LOLER, so my question here is (should I be asking for some sort of certificate or any other paper for conveyor?)

Thanks for responds

If it is capable of independent powered operation (i.e. not simply as part of another machine) then it falls under the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regs. It should be CE marked, have a declaration of conformity and a technical file.

For a simple machine the technical file isn't a complex document but should include operating manual, maintenance instructions, parts list, any lubricants, etc required, wiring diagram and details of how to connect to mains services. In short, all the info you need to install, operate, maintain and repair the equipment.
