Jonathon

Now you're picking the bones of the thread, do you distrust the pedigree of the toecaps information. I can assure you he's no mongrel when it comes to serious matters like this

Oh c'mon now, this was a serious question posted by Toecap and as such deserves a serious answer.

I say no as it was a minor injury and clearly the dog would have a CSCS card thus proving his competence. So you must ask the dog to see what he/she feels about the situation.

There, that has cleared that up!

Not really CFT which card would the dog hold? I've checked the list and the categories are Guide, Guard, Assistance and Site Manager. Most of ours fall into the Guide category to assist the machine drivers

now, if this was the site manager's guide dog, and had passed the touch screen test, then I would report it.

I feel a whippet coming on.

Awh, missed out a dog wagging the tale today!

CSCS. Canine Safety Competence "S"ertificate??

As to the reporting, the answer is a definite no. The guidance clearly shows that RIDDOR means

Really Intended Dogs Dont Occassion Reports.

Sorry I joined so late in the day.

Pete

Just how long did it take you to think the RIDDOR acronym up?

Toecap,

I remember the last dog i came across on site that had a nasty accident, he got his tongue cut off due to an industrial accident , he was quite upset because all the others on site were calling him smelly balls.

He sued quite succesfully for constructive dismissal
