This probably isn't the first or last time this request is made, but has anyone got a PUWER checklist type document for assessing machinery that will be used internally only (that's internally as won't be sold rather than put in some dark orifice or another).

Many thanks in advance

Alastair

Kevin/John,

When you are logged into the forums you can click on the user name to send an email or just hover the mouse pointer over the usernam to display the email.

Hope this helps

Rob

PS Can you let me have copies of your PUWER check lists as I need to undertake an assessment of my site too!

Many thanks for those that have responded. To save contributors being badgered, if anyone wants copies of the assessments/ checklists I've received to date, contact me directly.

Perhaps there ought to be a place on the IOSH website where contributors of documents, presentations etc can post them for public use?

Anyway, thanks again

Alastair

Try the following link to the Confederation of Paper Industries web site. There is some very useful info on the purchase and installation of machinery including a PUWER check list.
