Hi I got pack from HSE books a couple of years back "asbestos risk management presenters pack". Had video and CD included with work book. Was realtively cheap and covered all the major issues. try them i am sure they will have an updated one with new regs included.

tel them on 020 7717 6443.

Hi there,
The HSE website also has some excellent powerpoint presentations on Asbestos which are downloadable. If you go to topics and select Asbestos it will take you to an Asbestos home page with some excellent info.

Hayley.

Safety Media do a very good one on line with a small test at the end. I also think that they issue a formal certificate.

Nicol - Please be aware that general asbestos awareness courses are shortly to be referenced as category 3 training. The ATPG - asbestos training providers group has now been established and the Trade Association UKATA had its inaugural meeting on 6th September. Members of this association will be recognised asbestos training providers - and will be independently audited on their training content. I have many slides and pictures which I have incorporated into various presentations over the years. Please contact me for further details. Your asbestos awareness course must meet the requirements detailed within the asbestos regulations, including reference to the tutor:delegate ratios etc etc Certificates issued will need to indicate modules covered in the training, the photograph of the individual, national insurance numbers etc etc This will ultimately apply for all category 1, 2 and 3 training provided. [We have implemented this with immediate effect]

If you wish further information - please contact me.
