One of our engineers has to go to Holland to do some maintenance work and will be provided with a forklift by the customer to use. The Engineer has a UK forklift certificate and is authorised by us to use our own forklift. If the customer is ok with this and the forklift is the same type as we use is this ok or is there some piece of Dutch legislation that we should be aware of and follow. We are awaiting a reply from the customer but I thought I would test out the knowledge within the forum.
regards Simon

Posted By Mitch A in the UK skilled forklift driver is allowed to hire and operate a forklift truck in the Netherland. When he is asked for by the authorities, he must be able to show his expertise for that kind of forklift truck.
