Posted By Chris121 Hi all,
I am sure this question has been asked many times but I was wondering what the preponderance feel is an appropriate level of PI cover, I have been told £5m but feel this may be a bit over the top?
Regards
Chris

It depends on the scale and type of work that you do; I am happy with my £1,000,000 of cover.

Also depends on what your clients require of you, like Paul, I and my clients are happy with £1M cover. Also beware many companies will sell you cover for £X but it is aggregate cover not per claim. So if it all goes horribly wrong and you have more than one claim in 12 months the level of cover you actually have is divided by the number of claims
