Does anyone have any ideas about initiatives that could be taken (such as preventative maintenance, inspections etc) in order to ensure that the ceiling lights in industrial facilities?

This is a serious post as there are many more aspects to light installation than changing the light bulbs. I have little success in finding information/ guidelines etc. on prevention initiatives / preventative maintenance guidelines etc. and I would appreciate serious responses or ideas.
