I am trying to find a link to an accident which happened in London on Monday 17th September 2007.

Apparently a Slinger / Rigger was working underneath a load when the load fell on top of him badly injuring him

Sorry thats not what I was looking for. It was about someone who was injuried when the load they were standing under fell on top of them.
Thanks anyway

David,

I would contact the H.S.E. and request they search the R.I.D.D.O.R. date base.

Such an occurrence is bound to have been reported.

its worth a try, Good Luck.

Regards, Garry...

David,
I can understand your bemusement. I too saw the subject accident reported on the BBC news web site (with photo), but when I searched for it on your behalf I found that it is not logged within the web site: odd - because some other accident reports are.

Remember folks it only happened on Monday so they are still within their reporting period.
