Posted By Chris Huckle Hi
As part of the European Safety & Health at Work week, we are trying to raise awareness of MSD's. Can anyone recommend a good training video on musculoskeletal disorders.
Any help appreciated.
Chris

Posted By Duncan Brown Hi Chris We are launching a brand new film on musculoskeletal disorders this week. You will be able to see the main film and bonus features on a sample DVD, preview the film online at www.outtakes.co.uk and see the film at the Health and Safety show at the Reebok stadium on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th of October in Bolton. (In the past the moderator has said we are allowed to supply information in response to a direct question). Thanks Duncan Brown

Posted By Chris Huckle Thanks for that information Duncan, unfortunately I can not get to your screening as we are in Devon, but I am keen to see the video preview when it comes online. Will it be online on the 10th or do you have a later release date for it?
Thanks Chris

Posted By Pam Williamson Hello Duncan, Please may I have a sample copy too? I train Advanced Health and Social Care students in generic handling techniques and we are about to undergo hoist training in a local care home so a greater understanding of MSD would be benificial to us. Thanks in anticipation, Pam paw@bede.ac.uk

Posted By Pam Williamson Good morning Duncan, As requested address is: Bede 6th Form College, Hale Road, Billingham, TS23 3ER
Thanks alot. We are only a small college and cannot afford DVD's made by commercial organisations. I am always on the look out for good, resonably priced H&S resources to back-up my own games / puzzles to complement training. Thanks again , Pam

Posted By Richard Selk Have you checked the NAPO animations - which are all easily accessible on the European site?
definitely H&S in a lighter vein - but no less powerful for it.
