Hi All
Wonder if there is an expert out there regarding F10 notifications to HSE and what the benefits and pitfalls are regarding a dual work-site.
I think I know what it is but couldn't hand on heart say for definite.
Any help would be most gratefully received.

There should only be one Principle Contractor on site at any one time who is in overall charge, this can change as the work progresses.
eg demo contractor and then taken over by builder who becomes PC

Hi Dave
Thanks for that, so does that mean one F10 can be used to cover each of the different phases?
I wasn't sure if it was ethical especially as this project is on site as well as off site with excavation.
What if there is a different CDM Coordinator for different parts of the project as its being run as two although its one.
Sorry to ask so many questions but Ive not come across this scenario before.
Many thanks
Emma

Emma,
There should be one CDM co-ordinator and one Principal Contractor for one project at any one time. The CDMC should notify the HSE (usually by F10) asap after being appointed. At that time if the Client has not appointed a PC then additional notification is required when the PC is appointed. Similarly, if the appointments are changed as the work progresses, then further notification to the HSE is required. The CDMC must make it clear that updated information relates to an earlier notification.
Your posting is not clear, in so far as it seems to refer to two projects?.
