Posted By Saracen11 Hello all, apologies if this has already been done to death but I thought it worth a posting... I hope that the competition runs smoothly, a champion is crowned and there are no accidents - it'd never be lived down... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/...hamptonshire/7043184.stmRegards

Posted By Tony Priest Interesting to see that the drill operator was not wearing eye protection, except normal spectacles, she was holding the work-piece with her fingers, and she has a large necklace dangling round her neck!
Because the hand held drill has now been modified and turned into a pedestal type drill, does this now require a chuck guard?

Posted By Anne Smart Hi everyone,
You can read about the World Conker Championships in the 'President's Diary' - click on the icon on the IOSH homepage. There are also some pictures from the event there too.
