I received the HSE bulletin alerting me to the above update, saying "changes shown in bold". Is it just my tired, old eyes, but I can's see anything in bold. Have any of the WELs actually changed for Oct 2007?

Not sure now but I think the bold entries only existed in the draft Table 1 issued in June 2007. They are adoptions of European Limit Values in about 20 cases.

The consultative document of 2006 with all the proposed changes is still available at www.hse.gov.uk/consult/condocs/cd208.pdf

The current confirmed Table 1 of October 2007 has a tiny edit so it's not identical to the draft in another respect.

I have the document in which the changes were in Bold! I guess someone should remind HSE of the misleading statement on its website.

It would have been nice if the HSE had tabulated the "old" and new limits in a seperate document--yes, the Consulatative Document has it, but not all of the proposals have been finalsed as in the Consultative Document!
