Can anyone help me find the specific references to adequate supervision of the workforce? It has been such a shabby day that I have probably passed right over the info I need in Croners. I'm pretty sure it comes into the Management Regs as well as S2 of HASAWA but now at 15.10 I am completely head shot and in need of help.

Hi Kite
Thanks for the response. I'm in a far less stressed condition this morning and can in fact see the wood for the trees. The references are quite plain in the cold light of another day.
Thanks again and Best Regards
John

Is not the amount of Supervision needed down to the Competence and Training of the people that are undertaking the tasks together with the Hazards and Risks of what they are doing?
This should come out of your Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Follow and comply with HASAWA and MHSAWR and any other regs relevant to your organisation and you will have done all that is "REASONABLY PRACTICABLE" to ensure that you have conformed.
