I have had this quoted to me, I think it is an Irish, rather than UK regulation. is this correct?

This was the basis of Irish H & S legislation but has now been repealed by the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, 2005. The new general application regulations for this act come into effect in November 2007.
