Hello,

I have been asked to carry out a risk assessment for a hotel with around 20 rooms and small restaurant and a separate small bar area. I have also been asked to produce a h and s policy.

I am not sure whether i would be competent enough to carry this out as i only have my NEBOSH general.

I feel as though i could do it, but i am still a bit worried.

Has any one got any examples i can look at ?

any tips or advice ?

Also how much should i charge for this ?

Any input will be more than welcome,

Thanks in advance

If you are not sure whether you are competent, you probably aren't.

Mostafa, you could check the HSE website (Catering & Hospitality section) where you will find a wealth of information that you can assess and decide on whether you need any further assistance.
In case you are operating ouside the UK, the address is www.hse.gov.uk
The general advice and guidance will be subject relevant although, of course, there may be local or regional variations that you may have to research if you are operating outside the UK.

What sort of risk assessmentis the first question

Are there any previous ones available

Finally split the premises into three areas as if they were three different businesses this should make some of it easier
