Hi Warren
If you go to the HSE web site, and go to Risk management in the health and safety topic box you can find five steps to risk assessment. There are also examples for you to look at. IOSH also have Managing safely courses where risk assessments are part of the course.

hi warren

have you seen the BSC level 2 certificate in risk assessment, its a one day course with an assessed exercise and sucessful candidates recieve a certificate of competence. i have used it and delivered the course, my clients seem very happy with it.
