Is there anything else I shopuld be doing from a H&S point of veiw?
Thanks in advance

Posted By David Bannister Just be careful out there - you never know what those Lancashire lads & lasses may do to you sensitive Yorkshire folk.
Sit on the back row of the Roller Coaster - nobody can throw up down your neck. Understand the cause of the colour of the sea. Too much rock can rot your teeth. Take plenty of sun block. Treat your staff as adults.
Finally, tell your EL insurers about this hazardous adventure!

Posted By Robert S Woods No way am I going.
My memories of Blackpool are having to Wade through lakes of urine in toilets, being accosted on the prom by naked drunk Scots men, and eating botulism burgers. This stopped being funny when I was about 23.
Based on recent reports thing haven't changed much.

Posted By Tabs "Take plenty of sun block" Better make sure it is the water-proof variety!
Make sure that people know ahead of time that drink is banned from the coach - and ensure that the management going with you understand their responsibilities and duties of care for a company jolly like this.
None of that should stop you having fun though - the howling wind and horizontal rain might though, LOL.
The best fish and chips are at the North end of the town, two streets back.

Posted By Robert S Woods Kevin,
Love the Scots, spend my holidays in the Highlands north of Invernesss. In fact if I had enough money to retire I would be living there.
However a fact is a fact and thats what happened on many occasions, and I've got the scars to prove it.

Posted By Robert S Woods David,
I would have thought sitting at the front of the roller coaster was a better option as the sick would go backwards when travelling at speed?

Posted By Crim I went to Blackpool last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Went to the top of the tower and walked along the front. The Tower circus is excellent, well worth the entrance fee, but take your health and safety head off as the performers take tremendous risks.
Watch out for the pony poo on the roads and the trams do sneak up on you.
Best fish and chips is the Cottage just outside town. (All the locals know where that is).

Posted By Robert S Woods You can take as many risks with your own life as you want as long as you can justify it as artistic performance. However as we all know HASAW applies when you are rehearsing.
I have a number of clients who, when they found this fact out tried to say that their employees were in fact highly skilled artistes artistically performing their various tasks, eg using a stihl saw or climbing up 50' of racking.
